Yesterday, YouTube's Citizentube released it's year in review for the U.S. Government on YouTube.  Dive into the numbers and you'll see that Republicans outranked Democrats when it came to online video prowess.

Though the Democrats captured the majority of the seats in Congress, 89% of Republicans have channels, compared to just 74% of Democrats. In yesterday's big win for the GOP in Massachusetts, Scott Brown's campaign had an undoubtedly superior YouTube channel to his opponent Martha Coakley.

In fact, of both the 10 most viewed and 10 most subscribed to lists of popular YouTube channels, 8 out of 10 in each belong to Republican members.

Who lead the pack?

Representative Ron Paul (R-TX) has the most subscribers of Republican members - Right now he's sitting pretty with 4,985 loyal subscribers.  Close behind is House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-OH) with 2,317 current subscribers.

Representative Mike Rogers (R-MI) has the #1 most viewed congressional channel on YouTube.

Kudos to Republicans for a great first year on YouTube's US Government.
