Conservative columnist, Dinesh D'Souza, has been trying to find Richard Dawkins for a good ole' fashion debate.

KeepThatFaith's first video, "Time To Debate" explained the relationship between Dawkins and D'Souza and reveals some of Dinesh D'Souza's great debate moments.

Dawkins has become a professional D'Souza Dodger so to lighten his spirits this holiday season, KeepThatFaith bought him a Christmas gift.

Hope you enjoy the second KTF video and Merry Christmas.

Enter Tagga - Free SMS Campaigns

Tagga may be a great resource for your GOP state party or campaign.  Tagga, a Canadian company based out of Vancouver (home of flickr), appears to be a great little tool with a lot of potential.  Tagga enables you to establish text messaging accounts for free and you can create a personalized code.  I just set up an account for the Massachusetts Republican Party and you can now text MassGOP to 82442 to join massGOPmobie.  I will also set up a RSS feed to our blog, MassRoots, where people can get updates from the blog on the go.

You can send up to 80 characters to your subscribers for free, paying $0.20 a text will give you 120 characters per message.

Soon, you will be able to create polls where people can vote from their phones and newsletters where you an create text message newsletters.  Granted, with Twitter you can update volunteers on their phones but this is a nice tool with a specific niche that people can understand immediately, there seems to be a learning curve with twitter and "tweets."

I hope to roll out the new MassGOP.com in a few days and this will be a nice addition to the site, I'm glad I found it.  Speaking of which, I'm using the new and improved websat created by Cyrus at the RNC for the new MassGOP.com and it's been a great system - if you're with a state party, I highly recommend it.

what do you value?

A big part of my job as ED of the MassGOP is to focus on trainings and education.  I want our limited activists to spend their limited time as wisely as possible.  We have had good success with our private training blog, MassRootsAction, and have put all of our training materials online so that our troops can get trained on their time - on Saturday morning in their pajamas with their coffee.

Below is a clip that I use in my keynote trainings out in the field and in our training center.   Based on some disturbing reports of a few Republican Town Committee members telling one of our campaigns that "the campaign with the most yard signs, will win" I figured that I had to fight back the yard sign warriors.  My answer was this video

It all started while sitting in my office in Boston staring at the US Congressional red/blue map.  I was not looking for anything in specific, just admiring the differences around the country.  I then thought how cool it would be to drive from the Atlantic to the Pacific and remain entirely in Republican Congressional Districts.  I ran my eyes across the map and bumped into a few blue road blocks, but soon enough, I found a red route.  I then tried the same thing with blue congressional districts and thankfully failed at each attempt.  I think this red route says something about the broad demographic that endorses the Republican Party and the conservative movement.

As a former College Republican, I always loved the excitement of traveling to help out a Republican campaign.   Considering this is an election year, I saw a fantastic opportunity  for the CR's to travel from coast to coast, campaigning for GOP incumbents while never leaving a red district.

I had the pleasure of meeting Charlie Smith and Ethan Elion from the College Republican National Committee (CRNC) and we began to discuss this concept.  They loved the idea and they came up with some brilliant concepts.  Charlie and Ethan immediately saw the big picture - get CR's to travel in each congressional district to show the real world of campaigning.  Politics is not all about cocktail parties; it's about making phone calls, stuffing the envelopes, and knocking on the doors.  This is a unique opportunity to show how the CR's are the "unions of the right."

The CR's teamed up with David All and they have produced WhereIsTheRed.com which has perfectly executed this concept.  As I type, Kentucky is getting support from the WhereIsTheRed crew.  I love that each campaign stop concludes with placing the bumper sticker of that particular candidate on the back of the vehicle.  The road crew has a mission to end the campaigning portion of the trip in California, then visit the DNC convention in Denver and then finally concluding in Minnesota at the GOP convention.  You should follow WhereIsTheRed and then hopefully meet them in Minnesota if you plan on attending the convention.  Congrats to Charlie and Ethan for doing an amazing job and keep these CR's on the road in your prayers.

Your cell phone has more power than you may think. We in the political world are often on the road and we should always be thinking of ways to better equip ourselves outside of the office.

Enter drop.io – a clever little tool for your phone.

Sign up for a free account and get a phone number with a private extension just for you.

Call the number, enter the extension and boom – your old cell phone is now a microphone recording as an Mp3. As soon as you are done recording and hang up, the Mp3 almost instantly appears on your drop.io page. Widgets for your blog are now available.

At a Democrat event and don’t have a video camera? Use drop.io for opposition research. You can then include the Mp3 in your release responding to the event, or keep it on file.

You can also use drop.io to recognize activists and give them a voice by interviewing them. Each time that I have used drop.io it has been a spontaneous moment where I thought it would be good to magnify what it was that I was doing and add a little personality to our blog post. I'm a big believer in accompanying each post with one of the three; audio, video, or a picture.

We at the Massachusetts Republican Party have been using drop.io and it’s great to have more options on your cell phone.

Video is certainly the preferred medium but you don’t always have a video camera on hand. Qik is fixing this problem. But until quality video is mainstream on your cell phone, drop.io is a helpful (and free) little tool.  They should hire snoop dog to promote this thing, "drop it like it's hot"....ehhh.. maybe not.

Hello KeepThatFaith.com - campaign creative.

I'm happy to introduce to you KeepThatFaith your home for creative content to promote our movement. "Keep that faith" are the first three words spoken by John McCain in the amazing webad "man in the arena."

For a long time now, I have noticed (like you) that our conservative movement lacks quality graphics. One recent study shows that 92% of those between the ages of 18-29 use the internet compared to only 37% of those 65+ (you know this.) But, this means that young hearts and minds are being persuaded online, right now, and we are not bringing our game.

You won't find any lofty philosophical debates here or arguments about policy. Heck, I won't even ask you for money (maybe later for competitions among designers.) I am simply asking for a little bit of your creative talent.

KeepThatFaith is a global home of conservative graphics and videos for all of us to use in our online advocacy. If good content goes into KTF, good content will be released into the world.

Here is the idea:

+You (or someone you know) can create solid graphics to promote John McCain and other Republicans.

+Start designing graphics and send them to graphics@keepthatfaith.com or upload them to our facebook page. (the goal is quality, not quantity)

+Send your name, location, URL, and inspiration for the design along with your graphic so that you can get some credit (or you can be a lone renegade if you want).

+Do you have a need for a particular graphic to help you in your battle? Submit a request and ask for help.

+This site is not a place to visit and admire the art. It's a place to rob and steal. On your way out, take some content with you to show the world. Use it in emails, blogs, social networks, t-shirts, stickers, bibs, or whatever you can think of.

I'm sure a lot of you already have some content just hiding in your computer. Set it free by emailing it to graphics@keepthatfaith.com and we can collectively help advance our movement.

KTN will not succeed if I am alone at this. Use KTF as your way to show off, show your skills and get some recognition while advancing the cause (and building your portfolio.)

If you follow us on twitter you can get an update with each of our new releases and we will store our library of content on our flickr page, everything is public.

This will add a little bit of water to the desert, but remember, there is real work involved. You own this work. Take it. Use it. Spread it.
