You Need To Attend the Personal Democracy Forum June 23-24

The Personal Democracy Forum is one of the most all-encompassing, non-partisan conferences on how technology and the internet are changing politics, and registration for its fifth year is still OPEN. PDF2008 will be taking place in NYC on June 23-24.

As a speaker and attendee for the past two years, trust me when I tell you that you will be glad that you attended this conference. It covers technology and the electoral process (day one) and technology and governance (day two). Wow, unfortunately I can't make it to this event but it sounds incredibly interesting. Will there be a way to get a video or paper transcript of the discussions?

That would be a nightmare given that the event is 48 hours. Hopefully they'll stream the event and I expect a lot of live-blogging from the four or so TechRepublican contributors who will be attending.

I think it is a modern idea and you are right that new technology and the internet can change politics. It will be a convenient way to learn about social technology, about presidential campaigns. Of course, I have noticed the big speakers.
