What's with McCain? Why won't he respond to 14 science questions

Forget about the fact I write for sciencecheerleader.com and am helping the organizers of sciencedebate2008.com with their effort to get McCain and Obama to debate science issues. Do consider the fact I am a Republican Committeewoman in the 5th Ward of the very heavily Democrat city of Philadelphia, PA. I am so surprised and disappointed that McCain's team hasn't even responded to the invitation to debate science with Obama (he didn't reply to that invite either). Appalled that McCain has just ignored the massive call from scientists and the public to respond to 14 questions. Obama's about to submit his responses. I'm looking for an answer from you/McCain's team: Is he going to respond to the 14 questions (simple yes or no)? If so, by when? If not, why? Will he consider a debate w/Obama on science issues? 14 questions and a spoof presidential debate can be found on sciencecheerleader.com I do hope you will reply to this email.-Darlene Cavalier
