Today's TechRepublican Second Cup alerted me to the emergence of a new, independent, conservative political action committee known as the National Campaign Fund. The organization appears to be housed exclusively at ExposeObama.com.

The first act of the group was the launch of an ad characterized by Time's Michael Scherer as a "Willie Horton hit on Obama." Here's the 60-second spot:

Of note, the video was added to YouTube on April 16 but this is the first I've heard of it.

An excerpt from the website's About section:

We are a committed group of conservatives concerned that Barrack Hussein Obama would be the worse possible President for America at this time, or any time. Together we have years and years of experience at all levels of political campaigns along with the skill to implement our plan. [sic]

Based on what I'm seeing at the group's website, this appears to be another top-down organization looking to find a niche in this election cycle. However, I could be wrong and this could indeed be another Player in the New Guards.

Time will tell.
