I just finished watching the Prescription for America #obamercial here on the East Coast on ABC and am pretty pleased at the conservative republican presence on Twitter this evening.
As of a few minutes ago a simple Twitter search for the twitter trending topic 'ABC' yielded a large number of anti-#obamercial tweets.
RNC and other conservative orgs did a great job at rallying their activists on twitter to Tweet-4-Truth. I think right of center organizations are beginning to arm their activists with data online and that the best is yet to be seen.
This is why sites and other online projects like War Room Alerts are so important. They are a start to an online revolution where activists can easily be equipped with the tools they need.
Here's what War Room Alert's founder, Shawn McCoy (former Freedom Watch War Room operative) had to say about his effort:
If the GOP is going to revive itself in the coming years, we need campaign staffers and activists to be informed and knowledgeable of the top political issues each day. War Room Alerts offers readers a one-stop shop for campaign and political news. It works exactly like a campaign war room, providing readers with comprehensive media coverage and helping them pinpoint a message. The goal is rapid response. Readers will quickly learn of developments in the political world and understand how that will impact the debate.
One of the challenges that political activists face is monitoring a vast number of news sources. It’s difficult to keep track of recent polling, know when Congress is voting on a bill, and remember the talking points for key issues. Too often, folks skim the surface of the coverage that is available, which leads to our party using outdated messages that do not resonate with voters. War Room Alerts offers an aggregation of news on one site. This can help get our party on message and become aware of the strategies we need to win.
